In Never Let Go, the only safe place left in the world is a weathered house in the woods, and the only rule that matters is the one in the title. Halle Berry plays a mother who keeps her twin sons alive by keeping them tied to her, literally, with rope. The moment one of them lets go, the evil waiting outside gets its chance.
Directed by Alexandre Aja (Crawl), the psychological horror-thriller arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on November 11, 2026, from Lionsgate.
A Family Bound by Rope
As an evil takes over the world beyond their front door, a mother (Oscar® winner Berry) and her twin boys find their only protection in two things: their house and their bond. To stay safe, they must stay connected at all times, even tethering themselves together with ropes whenever they step outside, and they urge each other to never let go.
Then one of the boys begins to wonder whether the evil is real at all. When that doubt cuts the ties that hold the family together, a terrifying fight for survival begins.
Percy Daggs IV (“The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey”) and Anthony B. Jenkins (The Deliverance) play the twins. The cast also includes William Catlett (A Thousand and One), Matthew Kevin Anderson (“The Flash”) and Christin Park (“The 100”).
Behind the Camera
Aja, who turned a flooded Florida house into a hurricane-and-alligator nightmare in Crawl, directs from a script by KC Coughlin and Ryan Grassby. The film comes from the creative minds behind “Stranger Things,” and it is rated R for strong violent content and grisly images.
